Perth based Milliner Reny Kestel brings a new edge to contemporary hat wear, combining traditional millinery techniques with innovative designs, ranging from trackside showstoppers for racegoers to subtle head pieces for the bridal party.
Reny designs and hand crafts each piece at her Mt Pleasant studio. The sculptural forms and visual shapes that are the basis for each piece, are designed with thought and balance to frame the face. Colour and texture is explored with luxurious trimmings and intricate detailing, drawing inspiration from both the past and future, favourite icons, pop culture and contemporary art.
Reny is a qualified Fashion Designer who after many years in the industry discovered a passion for millinery whilst living and working in London. She seized the opportunity to study the art of Millinery at London College of Fashion and since returning to Perth has launched her Millinery label.

Reny uses only the finest materials and traditional hand-sewn techniques when creating her designs. Silk fabrics are used and the flowers seen in each design have been individually handmade.
Designs can be purchased as displayed on the website or tailored to suit your needs. Prices may vary based on changes to the design, use of alternative materials or colour matching. Some Collection pieces however, are one of a kind, made from vintage trimmings and exotic rare feathers. Please contact Reny to discuss product availability and the option that best suits you.
Once the design is agreed a 50% deposit is required to commence your order with final payment due on collection. In general please allow three to five weeks for production, as materials may need to be sourced. Peak times occur in Spring and Summer, so advance orders are recommended to avoid disappointment.
All prices shown on the website are GST inclusive. Each piece is boxed individually and your order can be collected from the studio or posted for a delivery fee.
Reny also offers a couture made to measure service to clients seeking an exclusive design. The service includes initial consultation discussing fabrics, colour, size and design at Renys studio. If the piece is required to match an outfit, you are requested to bring a fabric sample with you to the initial consultation. Clients living further afield can consult with Reny by phone or email.
